Rachel and Doug got married this past Saturday at the incredibly beautiful Plum Street Temple downtown. I can remember meeting Rachel there for our consultation and seeing the excitement in her eyes as she was about to show it to me for the first time. I can honestly say, this is the most beautiful place I’ve ever filmed a wedding. Its filled with history and has been meticulously maintained, very hard to believe its almost 150 years old! The day was unbelievable and went off without a hitch thanks to the always great Dora Manuel of Viva Bella Events. The photographer, Janie, of Alanna Photography was there to capture the day in style and was a pleasure to work with. After the Ceremony the party started at the Hall of Mirrors where some of the guests went into a recreation of the ‘Thriller’ dance as Don Wright of Pro Music Hosts made sure the floor was never empty! It was an amazing night filled with love and laughter. Here’s a trailer for their wedding film! Enjoy!

Trash the Dress!!!
I have been waiting so long to make this post! I shot a Trash the Dress over the weekend with some amazingly talented people and this certainly ranks up there with my favorites! I worked the the incredible Kortnee and Ted Miller of Simply Timeless Photography, who shared the same vision as me and brought so many fresh ideas to life! Joyce Looby, a fantastic video producer and friend was there to capture the events as well as the up and coming John Carney. Annette, the bride, was incredibly easy to work with and looked phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked to work with a better group of people and I’m so proud to present the first Trash the Dress video in Cincinnati. Enjoy!
Wedding Planners
So I was invited to a vendor appreciation party that was put together by the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) last week at the phenomenal Savannah Center in West Chester. I had an incredible time getting to know the others in the industry, and meeting some people that I have heard so much about! Which leads me to this…If you don’t have a wedding planner, you should really, really consider getting one. I can speak from experience. When Reagan and I got married four years ago, she mentioned getting a planner and my mind instantly went to Frank, that guy from “Father of the Bride”. Was I sorely mistaken. Our day was FLAWLESS and we didn’t have a care in the world, everything was in the wonderful hands of Brigid Horne-Nestor of I do weddings. There are many planners to choose from that offer a wide variety of services that can fit any budget. A list of some great planners in Greater Cincinnati are of course Brigid, Dawn Dagenbach of Details by Dawn, Heidi Pasqualetti of I Thee Wed, Dora Manuel of Viva Bella Events, Julie Schmidt of Cincy Event Planning, Amy Bouche-Castro of In Style Event Group and Kristen of Tres Chic. Do yourself a favor and at least entertain the idea, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
