Trash the Dress at ‘The Taste’!!!
To most people, The Taste of Cincinnati is an annual event held on the city’s streets, during Memorial Day weekend to showcase some of the area’s fine cuisine. Like I said, ‘to most people’. To me The Taste of Cincinnati was an incredible opportunity to trash a dress in the middle of the streets while hundreds of bystanders stood around with a beer in one hand, a grilled food of some sort in the other and mouths wide open, looking on in either complete horror or amazement or possibly a little bit of both. Once again, the incredible creative mind of Kortnee Miller met with foul play when she said these words to me, “Are you in”. Am I in? Are you kidding me? Where do I sign up! So the team of Simply Timeless Photography, Joyce Looby, and yours truly was assembled. Once it was determined that the ‘Taste’ was going to be the arena for our latest endeavor, press releases were sent out quicker than you can say ‘mustard stain’! Ryan and Ashley were absolutely AMAZING that day. They were up for anything we threw at them, literally! Dancing on a stage in front of a crowd of hundreds, crowd surfing, port o lets, nothing was too crazy. Local 12 was there to cover some of the events and we were all over the late night news! And at the end of the day, that white dress, well………

Tracy + Max: The Trailer and Same Day Edit
This was a night I’ll remember for a very long time! I remember meeting Tracy and her mom, Paulette for the initial consultation and thinking ‘this is going to be a great wedding’, I certainly wasn’t wrong by any stretch of the imagination! Tracy had called me about three weeks or so before the wedding to ask if we still had time to do the Same Day Edit, she wanted to do it as a surprise to her mom, who had absolutely loved the idea. We had plenty of time and as I’m filming the interview segments, I’m completely blown away by the sound bytes they are unknowingly giving me and I’m already starting to edit the piece in my head. The greatest thing is, Paulette called me the very next day asking me to talk Tracy into doing the Same Day Edit, but I couldn’t tell her that we had already done it, so I told her there just wasn’t enough time to make it happen but I would gladly produce a photo montage for them, (this would explain the screen at the reception and Paulette wouldn’t get suspicious). The master plan went off without a hitch! Mom, dad, and all the guests were able to watch with laughter and tears of joy as Max and Tracy explained how they met, fell in love and ultimately got married, then were surprised by video of the preparations and the Ceremony itself!!! It truly was one of those magical moments that will forever be etched in time. Tine Hoffman was there to capture every moment in style and the whole event was flawless thanks to Kristen Kloth of Tres Chic Event Planning!
Enjoy the trailer for their wedding film!
Here is a shortened version of the Same Day Edit. The entire video was about ten minutes long, this sample is about five. Enjoy!

Simply Amazing!!!
So as you know, Mya just turned one year old on Tuesday and of course we threw her a party, Sesame Street style! And of course there were an insane amount of pictures and video taken that day, but nothing compares to what happened yesterday when Kortnee Miller of Simply Timeless Photography unleashed her creative genius on the streets of downtown Cincinnati. Picture this, its about one in the afternoon, the Reds are in town, the sidewalks are are being abused by business suits, high heels, and….. a baby in a sleeper???
You continue on your journey, turn into your favorite coffee shop and find someone sitting in your favorite chair…

Working it old hollywood style
I love my daddy time
And then you find this…
Many, many, many thanks to Kortnee for the incredible ideas, and the even better photos. Also a big thank you has to go out to the kind and very talented folks at Busken Bakery, especially Dan Busken for the incredible and at this point inedible cake. Dan, I’ll see you at your wedding!

To say this has been the best year of my life would be the greatest understatement ever said. Daddy’s little girl is growing up FAST! She’s a year old now, ok, her official birthday isn’t until tomorrow, but we celebrated it this past Saturday surrounded by friends and family. In this past year, she’s grown by leaps and bounds and has never ceased to amaze me along the way. Reagan and I watched her crawl, get her first teeth, say her first words, climb up on things, stand on her own, chase after Guinness, wave bye-bye, splash water in the tub, climb the stairs, take her first steps and fill the room with her infectious laugh. I honestly never knew I could ever love someone as much as I love her and it’s such a blessing to watch her grow and take on her own personality. I AM the luckiest man on earth. I’m a big softy too. I well up with tears quite often when I see her doing something new. I know these are the moments I’ll look back on years from now and smile, and laugh, and yeah, I’ll probably even cry too. I put a little video together of her first year and shamefully I couldn’t devote as much time as I wanted to on it, but I’m still very happy with it. Even this was hard for me to create. I couldn’t stop crying as I’m editing it. Looking back at all the footage of her as a newborn and those special little moments that Reagan and I will never forget. We showed this at her party and everyone loved it and I wanted to share it with you. Please enjoy!
